It is important to go out into our local environment to learn. To do this, we need to ask for parent helpers. If you are available on a regular basis, please let your child's teacher know.
Ballannette Park (September 2019)
Our students were invited to plant trees at Ballannette Park by the Ballannette Trust. SCS sponsored our trip and organised Professor Bridgewater to speak to the children about their future contribution to the environment. We were supported by Bill Dale (Beach Buddies), John (Dog) Callister (traditional Manx weaving) and Michelle Storton from Manx BirdLife. The students loved their day out, especially planting over 200 saplings and tramping through the mud in their wellingtons!
